I am currently having a slight issue with what I am assuming is my USL JSD-80. In my center channel and some bleed in the L & R channels I have a slight buzz that can be very annoying.
The issue is, it doesn't happen all the time, I had my tech over last week and it wouldn't happen while he was here, we changed the amp and crossovers on that channel and during Friday and Saturday night's shows it occurred again. Sunday afternoon it did not. We thought it may be coming from the sub. Turned Sub Amp off it was still there. I listened in my assisted listening devices and heard it as well so there for I am leaning toward the processor at this time.
If anyone has some advice it would be greatly appreciated. My tech is calling USL today as well.
Thanks,
Adam T. Holland

Is there any other things happening at the time the hum is present it may be power line induced

It can also be wiring induced...that is if proper grounding procedures were not followed. Even things like an unbalanced booth monitor could create an alternate path for the electrons to flow.
