I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, or if I'm just lucky, but does it seem like Deluxe has something against removing old labels from their hard drives??? I never (at least that I can remember) have had this problem with Technicolor drives, but it seems like more often than not I'm peeling off what seems like a 1/4 inch thick pile of labels off Deluxe's drives just to get them to fit in the cru port of my GDC's so I'm not jamming them in there so tight that you need everything but a claw hammer to get them back out. I hate peeling the labels off, it's a pet peeve of mine when a drive doesn't have its label stuck to it, but i'm not going to mess up my cru port in the interest of time. Anyone else notice this or does Deluxe just really like me?

I have to peel labels off of the Deluxe trailer drives on a fairly regular basis to make them fit, too. I don't remember having to do that with any of their movie drives, though -- just the trailers.

Yeah Frank, the trailers are usually the worst. I believe it was Divergent that I had to peel them off of tonight.

Interesting is that I haven't seen "Trailers by Deluxe" drives for quite the while. We only get the Technicolor ones. Deluxe feature drives is somethings I have to peel them off to get them in the CRU bays.

Deluxe called around the end of January and said they were starting an optional "once-a-month" trailer delivery rather than weekly. I said we would be OK with the monthly, but they are still sending us a drive every week.

I'm pretty sure I've posted this before, but Deluxe and Technicolor could sure need one of those at their distribution facilities.

That is indeed a nifty machine, but I can't see it being of much value for labelling shipping boxes (which the video says it's intended for) because labels get beat up, dirty and torn when bouncing around in the back of a truck or the bottom of a container.
