Well yes and no. There are plenty of JBL 4000 series speakers...which include the Screen Array and subwoofers. Anything that is a 4xxx speaker is a 4000 series. However, if you are referring to the "classic" JBL cinema speakers like the 4675 and 4670, then yes...they are done. JBL kept the 2365 going for Cinema long after it and its fellow horns in the 2360 series fell out of favor (and were discontinued) for the Pro Audio side. The 4675, though a trooper and remains one of the best speakers ever, was very old in design and suffered from increases in price each year for the past what...30-35 years? The 4670D had a good LF section but the 2380 horn on the HF ALWAYS had problems. It never had good pattern control (Really none below 1000 Hz) and the response below 1000Hz was miserable. I'd take a 4722 over it in most cases and I'm guessing so would most others since JBL wouldn't have canned a popular speaker

However, in the subwoofer line...they seemed to have retained all of the 4000 series subs and have now augmented them a new lower-powered sub. I'm sticking with the 4645C though

I agree the 4675 was an excellent speaker at a cross over at 500 hz . It's 97 db sensitivity from 50 to 500 HZ made it so. The Altec A - 5 with the 515 and a sensitivity 104 db in the 100 to 1000 hz had a more open and transparent sound .
