After tonight's show I had the red error lights flashing on my Christie CP2210 and the following message on the screen: "Critical: LD log space is running low"

I have it connected to a GDC 2001A server.

Help?

You need to pure (clean) logs on it, there is post and it's allready discussed here......just find it.

I don't know if the current method of GDC purging logs has been discussed. In version 7.x it was in the administration section. You activated it and it would calm a projector's enigma down (I found that rebooting a projector and server could do it too...I guess it forced a hand shake). In version 8.01 (DCI compliant) there is an SM log utility (in the DCI section) in the Administration section but I don't know if it functions as a purge. One has to specify the date range and really you want to purge them all. Anything that is going to do what you want will take the better part of an hour to perform...though just clearing 512 entries (which should clear enough that the projector stops complaining) would take nearly 5 minutes.

For the benefit of anyone else who runs into this issue: make sure the projector power is on. Insert a flash drive into the server, go to the Admin panel, then Diagnostics/Maintenance, then click on Extract ASM Logs. Click on All Logs. Remove flash drive when it tells you to. Click on Reset ASM Log Retrieval. The red light and error message on the projector will go away after a couple of minutes.
