I'm a little confused by Deluxe's audio indication of the audio mix - they denote:

Studio: Paramount
Rating: PG-13
Feature Run Time: 02:44:54
End Credit Offset: 02:38:10
Image Format: 2048x858 Scope
File Size: 216 GB
Audio Format: 5.1

yet when the list is broken down it also includes a 7.1 mix - it's both... right?

Like many movies...the main version is 5.1 but there is a VF of it in 7.1. I've confirmed the 7.1 mix and it is playing at some of the theatres we service.

Now that the question has been resolved, maybe this info belongs in the Feature Info forum..?

There is also an 11.1 Auro mix too.

It is also playing in Dolby Atmos here in Honolulu at Consolidated's Ward 16

watched this again, well constant height 2.35 / Dolby Atmos the first time., today: IMAX-Digital, what's interesting is that I noticed that the movie displayed actually three aspect ratios - 2.35, full screen 1.78 AND 1.90 (as indicated as such on Transformer Age of Extinction's imdb page). How utterly odd.

Outside of 'A Good Day to Die Hard's assaultive Dolby Atmos mix, I thought the volume level in certain scenes on AMC Tyson's IMAX Digital system auditorium was waaay too loud - I actually cusped my hands over my ears (which I rarely, well... never do) I didn't have this problem during the Atmos presentation, here though, the volume was relentless and beyond irritating.

MOST OF THAT MOVIE SOUND is WAY OUT - OVERMOD - I TURNED IT DOWN 20% ... AND IT IS STILL LOUD

On my CP850, the fader is on "4", which is loud enough for my guests.

Any louder and they start complaining.
