I have a CP2000-ZX and was trying to figure out how to access the GPIO. The manual claims there are 8 inputs and 7 outputs but I can't find how to access any of them. The only reference I can find is to the 3D device.
Does anyone know if there is a way to trigger or test the GPIO with ethernet or RS232?

Available GPIOs should be addressable on the TPC, same as 3D output, e.g. for format changes.
To my knowledge, there is no way to use them or read them through RS232 or Ethernet. You would need a JNIOR to do that.
Christie has a document on RS232 communication for some of their special venue (non-DCI) projectors. This includes GPIO functionality, but I don't know if that functionality is also sleeping in the DCI machines.
The SCC port has some prewired GPIO functionality.
