Hi all, does anybody know how much time is needed for software upgrade at Christie CP2220?
Upload of package was quick, extraction also but for more than half an hour it is on one step "Executing ICP hotfix..."

I can not remember exactly how much time i have spent last time (more then 1y ago) with this but i think it was quicker.

The ICP thing can be tricky and it can also hang on the TI side of things.

What version of Christie software where you on and where are you going to?

Note too, Christie will run the ICP "Install Me First" on any ICP update though it is only really needed when crossing version numbers.

If you are going from ICP 2 or anything but ICP 3.4.320 to ICP 4.2.1, there is a decent chance it could hang. Furthermore, it is possible to crash the ICP on older versions. ICP 3.4.320 was the most stable one until 4.2.1, which has been rock solid.

Steve,

I am going from 3.1.0 to 4.2.1 via 3.1.1 and 4.1.1

Everything was ok with ICP but problem is with router part... It took me at least 7 upgrades with power cycles to get router bootloader to 4.2.1 and now i am having fun to get router sysfs and kernel to the same version. Who knows how much attempts it will take to finish...

Anyone had this problem before?

hard to remember all the release notes here but I do remember some say to keep rebooting or keep upgrading if something was wrong [Smile]
