Does anyone know what a 'Boot Error -3-3' means or goes back to on an AP20? I haven't found a list of error codes/explanations for the AP20 so far. Datasat UK is closed during the holidays.

I'm afraid this really is a very specific case and Datasat Tech support are the only ones that can help you... I'm curious though, did this happen out of the blue or after e.g. a software upgrade?

Was able to find a software guy checking his emails on the holiday:

"error -3 is a crc error loading the boot image from flash. Most likely the image is corrupt, though there could be others reasons. Recommend try reprogramming the unit using recovery process - boot with finger on screen to recovery mode, load image on usb stick."

Did this resuscitate it? I only ask out of self-interest: two of our three booths have AP20s, and so this information is useful to have in case we ever encounter this issue.

No, according to Datasat UK, the CPU board is defective, it is now in repair.

Thanks. Flash memory does not last forever, and I'm guessing that in this case it simply failed.

I don't think this was a failed flash due to wear effects. It was a fairly new unit and at least did not experience any 'extra' flash usage. Do not even know if the flash was actually the part that failed. Shit happens.
