There is an 158-seat movie theater, where XpanD 3D active system is formed. There are 2 lines under the control room, for these 2 lines transmitted the 3D signal with an XpanD AE long range emitter. 4 lines after the control room somehow turned off the glasses, or only very rarely turned on. In the 9. row down after it, work perfectly. The laser is configured correctly, cinema system installation company does not know what might be causing the problem. Anybody have any ideas?

Did this system operate without problems at any time, or is this a new installation with this issue?

If it works until some row, but not from there to the back, it seems obvious that is has not been aligned properly. Laser markers may not always tell the truth about the best orientation.

If the issue is repeatable, sit a few people in the front, middle and back rows and realign the transmitter so that all have working glasses. If that doesn't work, contact XpanD for advice and/or get another transmitter.

What is your screen size and type, and how long is the auditorium?

did you tried to tilt the emitter a little bit to cover all seats?

they dont need to be pointed to the screen.
I also recomend to install at least one emiter on side wall to cover those 2 lines under the control room.

They certainly need to be pointed at the screen, so that they reflect into the sensors on the front of the glasses. Similarly side emitters would be useless.
We use 4 emitters for a 1000-seat auditorium, all pointed at the screen at an angle to reflect into the audience with good coverage.
