control panel / time
The unit must be able to access the internet of course.

It is a tab in control panel / time.
You also need to set up a DNS server in the network properties. If it's going through an internet router you generally just use the router address. If you use DHCP all settings will be automatic but the server address will be dynamic, not static: you can set up most routers to use DHCP and reserve the server address by MAC address. I would use a static address if possible.

Thanks Dave, Marco,
I am using static IP. How can i setup DNS server. There is no choice in control panel tab.

control panel / networking
Are you authorised to play with that system?

Don't worry Marco, I am authorized person. There is no field in control panel/networking to input DNS server adress.
Thanks,

ehm... you're right!
The installation manual mentions a way to manually 'rescue' the IP configuration and also mentions how to add DNS servers but apparently there's no DNS field under networking!
How bizarre.
I'm stuck!
