What sort of temperatures are you seeing in booths now? How about the temperature in the audio rack?

It's all over the place. From 100+ degrees down to 70 degrees in the summer. From 20 degrees to 90 degrees in the winter. Newer builds (within the last 20 years) seem to have more consistent temps in the 60 to 80 degree area. Old theaters are all over the place. Heat ALWAYS rises too and old buildings often suffer from this. One site had an ICP over heat and when I remoted in to check the booth the temp was 106. I lost a media block recently in a location that consistently gets up to 100 degrees in the summer.

Your stuff has been bullet proof with zero issues.

Our two local drive-in's did modifications to their booths for digital usage.

Both locations use the Barco 32B units

One location added a larger window AC unit and have the room more sealed at the door. Booth runs a mild 72 degrees during the summer operations

The other location added a wall to lessen the square footage in the booth, added ceiling insulation and added a heat pump where the room temp is a comfortable 68 degrees even during the summer at operations.

Boothless operations have cool air pumped in the projection chamber to keep these units cool.

I had a split air conditioner installed in my projection room when I had the digital cinema equipment installed. So my projection room now stays nice and cool in the summer.
