Newbie question and a little help topic.

Equipment:
Doremi Showvalt server
Barco 32B

Doing some sub work at a local drive in and have two features on the screen. One feature is flat and the other is scope.
My only cues in the Cinelister are:
Start Flat
Start Scope
End
Black
Black 48
First feature is in Flat, thus my SPL build begins as thus:
Black one second
Flat start one second
Feature
Ten minute clock reel
Black one second
Scope Start one second
Scope feature
End

Now, all goes good until it hits the scope start where it begins fine, but suddenly it goes to total shutdown while the server is still in play (and I have the mode tab, "Play, then Eject"). Thus, I have to re strike the bulb, open dowser and swing the sound over after I immediately hit pause to suspend play to get the projector back in operation.

I'm only doing this to keep that big bulb lit during the entire performance and not shut it down between shows.

Is it possible to do dual lens format in a single SPL with Doremi? I can easily do it with GDC ..

Thus, a little help..what am I doing wrong, or is there a bad macro in the cue?

That should work.

The server macros might be screwy, or the projector macros may be screwy.

Try calling the flat projector macro (just push the projector button)... then the scope macro after a minute or two. If it happily changes to scope and leaves the lamp on, then the projector setup is OK and something in your server macros is shutting it off in your playlist.

Can you post an image of your server "play scope" macro and the projector scope macro?

I would say a Macro Issue. Doremi can certainly do it. Just ran 3 movies on the same playlist over the past weekend with format changes. Go into your macro editor and check them. Although unlikely might want to double check the macros on the projector as well.

Macros on the projector were fine since I did do the switch between formats while show was going, thus eliminated the Barco issue.

When I get out there next, I'll have to take a peek at the macros in the Doremi and see what is going on.
