On the upcoming 50th, is that going to be a 4k release on DCP?

Will there be any restored 70mm film showings I wonder or will they just show on 4K digital video? Get the programs ready for My Fair Lady with a Intermission for the theatres that are getting ready to show 70mm again soon.

Here's a discussion between Robert A. Harris and Kevin Koster on the restoration of My Fair Lady. Quite detailed and interesting (and aggravating). From Home Theatre Forum.

I do love this film.
The last time I played it in a theatre, I saw people yawning often during the last 45 minutes, or so, of the film.
I'm afraid the viewing public is getting more jaded as time goes on.

I ran this 35mm print, which was IB Tech, and mag/optical in 1972.
True, excellent all the way, but I can see that this generation wouldn't know how to appreciate classics like this as we did.
