Hi,

We are having issue on our CP2000 X Christie s1 projector.

When we tried to turn on the projector today, it is not booting up at all. Not the touch panel/projector itself starts booting up.

We can connect to the icp via the icp/enigma control program, but pinging the TP or projector itself is not helping.

Anyone have idea how we should proceed with this issue? What to check, etc?

Keep in mind that Series 1 equipment does not have an ICP or enigma at all and that you may be using the wrong program to try to communicate with it. You really need the T.I. Control Program for Series 1. Are you sure you are using the correct version?

First make sure power is going the lamp supply and that no breakers are tripped there. The lamp supply usually feeds 220 to the projector. Make sure you have that. If you do have it then it is ether the TPC went bad or the low voltage power supply went bad. The standby output of the lvps should come on when line voltage is turned on. This powers the tpc. If you have that then it is the tpc. If not it is the lvps.

I'm not 100% sure on the "X" version since it is the non-pedestal version but on the standard "S" or "SB"...there are multiple power supplies. The touchpanel has its own separate power supply as does the internal router (typically a "Dlink")

And then there is the LVPS that powers up everything in the card cage so it is VERY possible to have some things working and other things not.

Right you are Steve. I Just checked the interconnect diagram and separate supplies for TPC, network hub and the AC distribution board. AC distribution board puts out the 12 & 5 volts to the card cage. They all should be in the compartment other side from the lamphouse. Coolant pump and radiator are there as well.

There is also a line voltage meter on the back that should show the incoming voltage.
