Annli - where have you seen a 'SkipToMarker' feature? It could be a misunderstanding - yes, SkipToSegment is there, but Segment Markers can only be placed between individual playlist items. As you can't put a Segment Marker within a trailer or main feature, it is of little use to skip portions of trailers or main features. You can only skip over playlist elements that way - over macros, over full trailers, main features, etc.

General markers can have any timecode position, but you can't skip from or to them. At least not in our 2.6.4...

14.2 Marker
A marker is a label that is attached to a specific timecode of a CompositionPlaylist (CPL) inside the ShowPlaylist (SPL). It can be used by the user to add a note about when an event is expected to happen in the SPL. The use of these markers is generally for user information purposes only.
The exception is the Exit_Intermission marker. For information on how to use this marker, go to section 14.3.3.1.

Log into the terminal as doremi.
Ask you supervisor for proper credentials

Log in as a Superuser.
Ask you supervisor for proper credentia

Go to the following directory:
a. Type : cd /doremi/etc/
b. Press Enter

Edit the macro.xml file.
a. Type : nano macros.xml
b. Press Enter.

Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move the cursor before “</AutomationCueMacroList>”.
Type the following into the terminal exactly as it is shown below

<Name>Jump to Marker Feature</Name>
<Id>urn:uuid:e161dcc3-fe09-41bd-95bd-b38e7f68c874</Id>
<CommandList>
<Command>
<Type>SkipToMarker</Type> <MarkerLabel>Feature</MarkerLabel>

</CommandList>
</AutomationCueMacro>

Note:
The highlighted(Feature) term above can be set to what you prefer. It is important that the term applied to “Mark Label” is identical to the term that will be used to name the “Mark Label”

Save the file.
a. Press Ctrl + x on the keyboard.
b. Follow the on screen instructions.
c. Press Enter.

You say "Doremi and Dolby". The cue structure you mentioned is consistent with Doremi servers. Is that going to be implemented on Dolby servers (DSSx00) as well??

I think you'll find that since the IMS2000 only has ever had the Dolby badge, that is what he is referring to.

If the DSS like is to receive this feature, it would be in 4.9.x and I have not heard of it mentioned thus far (nor have I personally asked for it though I could see the benefit of it).

The section above about the markers being for informational purposes only is quoted from the IMS2000 manual, draft version 0.94 dating from 08/18/2015. What Annli quoted is not contained in that manual. And it's still not clear to me how to actually use that XML edit to jump to/from arbitrary TCs of a playlist element. Not saying it is not possible, just wondering where that information actually comes from.

Also, I don't find anything like that on the Doremi support pages.
Sure would be nice to have that feature.
