Hi all, long time watcher but first post (BTW thanks for all the info so far !)

Any ideas what I should be looking for here. Our Dolby DSS200 and Christie CP2210 decided that they would not communicate this evening. Tried a reboot to no avail then performed marriage which solved the problem. Question is why as nothing had happened between the evening show and the matinee, ie no security doors opened or cables unplugged.

Was the marriage light on the projector red or green when you lost connection?

You're talking about the projector marriage, as there's no procedure to get the server and projector talking as long as everything is set up and working OK.

I have seen, recently in fact, LVPS intermittent failure in the Christie cause this very thing. It may happen again, until the LVPS is replaced.
