I guess that there probably aren't many of these projectors still in active service, but just as a heads-up for the owners of any that are: we were recently looking for a new bulb and got quotes from three places, of which George Bruce's Entertainment offered one for $1,400 including a timer chip and a set of filters, which was a clear $600 less than either of the others. This is not a deal whereby you send them your lamphouse/reflector cartridge with a worn out bulb in it, and they swap it out and align the new one ready to plug and play: you have to do that yourself. But it really isn't hard. Compared to the other sources we found this seemed like a very good deal, and so I just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else was looking for one.

I still have two iS8 units working here at Technicolor NYC in our small rooms. I will check when I get back into the office.
