We had a strange situation happen recently where an unencrypted file disappeared from a playlist.

We are thinking a projectionist may have accidentally deleted it but we are looking for a list of ingests/deletes from that date- however our ingest monitor window doesn't go back far enough.

Is there a way to look at a longer history?

Does any of that make sense?

A Doremi server diagnostic report contains a LOT of data. I'm pretty sure that this information is in there somewhere. The system,in my experience, logs everything that happens... but I don't know how long it's all kept. Sorry but I have no idea exactly which of the 100+ logfiles saved in a report has clip deletion info.
You can manually search for it, maybe a Linux wizard would know where such information would be kept?
You can try sending it to Doremi support asking them to have a look... they have people that will know where the relevant logfile is.
Also: there is some protection against deleting clips that are still needed. Not too sure of what exactly makes Cinelister refuse to delete a clip - definitely if it's in a loaded playlist but maybe if it's in a scheduled playlist?

If you can download the logs to a computer, grep will allow you to search for the name of the clip that you want information about:

De-archive the logs into plain text files, the run this command:

grep -R nameofclip nameofdirectory/

That will search for the text nameofclip in all files under nameofdirectory.
