I'm a newbie here, i need advice to set up the lens focus,
because one of our lens projector change the focus a little,
so the picture that displayed on the screen did not run on
the best condition.

Note : i'm handling a DP2k-20C with DC2k 0,98" (1,4 - 2,05) lens.

You have to adjust the lens to get the image correct, then save the changes to the right lens file. Otherwise your adjustments are only good until a macro is executed.
Doing a lens home/return is advisable first.
Read the Communicator manual.

Hey Ananta

I agree with Dave and Marco. Getting training is well worth the expense as it will save you a lot later.

To change and save the lenses focus you will have to boot up communicator and adjust the focus in the lens settings. Make sure that you have a focus test pattern up on screen when you do this as it will help greatly over just having a piece of content up on screen.

As a personal preference when I save a lens file, or any file for that matter I make sure that I label it with my name so that it is easier to track who has made changes and also if you need to go back to the other file for unknown reasons it makes it a lot easier to do so.

but if you create a new lens file then you also have to amend all the settings in the macros. Unless it's a special lens file I always overwrite the existing ones - saves lots of hassle.

Yes, backup the original to an.old file, but keep the original file name.

That is a very good point Marco I don't know why I didn't think of that, especially when I do when playing with lens files.
