Trying to save us from a Sony tech call, if I can do this myself. Does anybody know where I can download a firmware update? (and find specific protocol for performing the update.) It looks like I'm running 1.21 now, I believe the latest is 1.3. My next lamp replacement(s) will be the newer LKRM-U331 model, and it seems the firmware upgrade is required. Thanks.

If you are on 1.21 I bet your 515 hasn't seen a tech for a while. Do the right thing and book a service visit with a proper tech, cleaning and gamma. Sony are not DLP machines.
