What is the solution to fixing this, when the buib horizontal & vertical is binding, also i got a reflector that cracked for no apparent reason its in a drive in, from what i can tell, it happened what we were down for 2 months when our screen got storm damaged, we do have another 2500 that we bought as a parts projector, does that whole mechanism that holds the reflector com out in one piece?

usually the binding is caused by the sliding parts having sieved just like the old vertical consoles also di I disassembled them and then put a little hi temp graphite on them before reassembling

It would be interesting to know what it caused. Was the booth effectively exposed to the impact of the storm? Is the Xenon bulb still intact? Because you usually only see damaged reflectors in combination with blown bulbs and even those aren't that common anymore.

Bulb was still intact, dont know what caused it,only thing i can think of, it had a hair line crack since i bought it. it was used with around 4 k hours when i got it .im going to change the reflector out on sunday any body have any tips on reflector replacement?
