Had a problem yesterday that the IP address of the projector just changed on its own. Tried to log into the web address to change our programming and couldn't get in. Went to the DCC, changed the IP back again, and it worked briefly (the web interface to the IMS) and then stopped again. Decided to reseat the IMS in case there was some connection issue. Did that. Now I have red tail lights with 4 errors. IMS physical marriage, side tamper, IMS slot tamper, and another marriage message (not in front of it right now, was fighting with it last night). Anyway, we can clear the tamper errors, but still have the red tail lights. When we try and remarriage through the DCC, it keeps telling us the projector is too busy to handle the request. I have never gotten that message from the DCC nor can I find any reference to it. Called NEC. They don't know either! So that's not good.... Any suggestions? I still have the marriage errors and the red tail lights and can't remarry due to the "too busy" error.
Exact error is: "Digital Cinema Communicator for S2 --- Maybe, projector is too busy.(192.168.10.20:43749) --- Error number: 2 --- (246, -3)"

Reseat the ICP. When it doubt, always reseat the ICP. It can absolutely cause havoc.
Then reseat the IMS and pay close attention to the switch that senses if the IMS is installed. I have had to put shims in there in order to get reliable contact (the factory face plate doesn't push the switch in far enough).

What is the make and model of IMS?

Actually, the projector IP address is stored on the CPU (top) module. During conversions I had a couple of NEC's that had 0.0.0.0. for the IP address and I had to change out those CPU modules before the projectors could even be set up.
The Server IP is on the ICP and that has to be remarried and tamper errors cleared after removing to reseat it. So the red tail lights are no surprise.
