Hi,
We have a problematic Barco DP 2K-P projector with a yellow patch. We have a spare LE for DP 100 . Will this be compatible with the Barco DP 2K-P projector?
thanks

Nope - one is Series 1 and the other is Series 2. Different form factors, different connectors, different everything. Sorry...

I don't want to rain on your parade, but you bought the most expensive 2K digital projector made... and you want to put an ancient S1 light engine in it?
You should be able to use any 2K or maybe even 4K Barco B series light engine, since you clearly don't care about the color abilities of the P projector. I realize a replacement P light engine is crazy expensive, and a B series LE is hardly cheap. But unless you have time to ship your P light engine to Barco for repair (not speedy repair, btw) then what else can you do?
Note that integrator rod and mirror alignment can affect color across the image.
You say you approved the color before it was bought, are you 100% positive this color shift wasn't there then? Shipping could cause the integrator or mirror to shift but doubtful it would affect the prism colors.

Wouldn't it be possible to perform a uniformity calibration on this light engine, as it is a 'P' machine yet? At least until a capable tech is found to look into the light path?
