Hi,

Does anyone know what is the general difference between Christie CP-2000X and CP-2000SB? Is CP-2000X capable of Dolby 3D?

CP-2000 SB is the super bright version of the projector.

The projectors are almost identical, the difference is that the SB has the integrated pedestal with rectifier and liquid cooling unit, the X has a projector module much like the SB but the rectifier is separate and the cooling system moved into the projector housing. That allows it to mount where the projection port is lower than the SB lens, saves installing a new port if that's even possible.
Lumens output... probably the X at 21000 is a bit less than the SB (can't find its).
Dolby had 3D kits for these, but do they now?

There are 3D kits on the used market and Dolby still has 3D glasses for sale. These projectors are old enough they can't do full size screen in triple flash so hardly ideal for Dolby 3D.

The SB should be able to do the full res triple flash. The X not so much. There is also an XB that can do it. Best to check whether it has an EFIB or XFIB board in it. FFIB is the one that can do the full res triple flash.

Typo in my post it is EFIB or FFIB. FFIB goes with the light engine that can do full res triple flash.

ZX is for small screen(3000w) and SB is for large screen(6000w).They all support triple flash 3D&DOLBY 3D.

Not true for the ZX. I have a pair that has the older lightengines in them along with the EFIB and will not do full res triple flash.
