Hello guys,

I have recently bought new lamps from Ushio. My concern is the cathode adapter, since I have not found any clear information about this.

When I compared the lamp with 4kw lamp from Osram, the screw is a little bit longer, so it seems to me it will not fit (did not test it yet).

I have checked the manual and in the manual there is only DXL40BAF lamp mentioned and it says it has the same adapter as Osram 4KW. I need to know adapters for 23B and DP2000 projectors.

Anyone have the experience?

Thanks!

Michal

DP2000 and most S2 projectors all use a one-size-fits-all cathode adapter: if a lamp is compatible, it must screw into that adapter.
The 19B and 23B lamphouses max out a 4kW and also use the same cathode adapter for all compatible lamps.
Only the 32B has multiple different lamp adapters, to suit various different lamps up to 6500W.

To clarify what Dave posted...

While the 19B/23B projectors use the "same adapter" for all lamps it is NOT the same adapter that is used for the 12C-20C/1200-2000.

The thing to remember is that for the DP2K-xxC projector, there is but one adapter for ALL lamps.

Likewise for the DPxK-19B or DPxK-23B there is but one adapter for ALL lamps.

If you want to confuse things, the DPxK-32B lamphouse (aka "XL") will fit the other B projectors as well as vice-versa.
