For Hollywood studio trailers:

1. Do they ever use CPLs to "hide" leader & tails?
2. If yes - do their DCPs contain 2-pop, tail-pop, slates or what exactly outside the CPL markers?
3. Do the trailers start at FFOA and end at LFOA, or how many frames of black do you get?

I've been looking all over and couldn't find a single bit of info on standard practice on what happens in the beginning and end of a DCP (neither trailers nor features), when it comes to how much black, CPL entry/end points, hidden 2-pops etc - if any at all.

You can load any trailer video and audio MXF into a suitable software (VLC player, DCP-o-matic, etc.) and see what's in the files. e.G. a StarWars8 trailer I happen to have on my disc uses a FotoKEM leader, 2pop, and different in/out points for video and audio.
