We just had our 1st of Endgame and the first digital show at our cinema.. It went on well.. during testing however, we noticed that if we ever switched to backup power, the video goes of for a few seconds, maybe 3 and then comes back up on its own. Any thoughts?

Please see rule #7, no teaser subject titles.
Please edit your post to correct this and ensure your subject titles are clear in the future.

Congratulations.
What kind of backup power do you use? If I assume a generator (also supplying the lamp power), it is probably not easy (=cheap) to have a very smooth transition. How often do you switch to backup power typically? I don't know much about the DP2000, but it probably is possible to add a medium size UPS to the server and projector head, that will filter out generator glitches.

Is the lamp going off and coming back on from the brief power interruption during the switching?

Sorry about way the post came up. I will fix that shortly.. No lamp doesn't go off.. I have an Inverter connected.. 5KVA.. the projector and server connected to this. We loose the video alone for a few seconds and it comes up on its own
Maybe 8seconds, but the server keeps running.

Sugest updating both projector nd server to the latest releases...

That 5KVA inverter probably is not able to transition fast enough. Again, try to get an additional UPS for the server and/or projector head alone. Possibly, a line-interactive or an online UPS type. Don't know if the DP-2000 supports a split supply for projector head and lamp

Surprised this still has a teaser title.

Koroye - teaser titles waste people's time because they have to click on them in order to see if the discussion applies to them. These are the very same people you are asking assistance from.
