Anyone had this working? We have the Gemini Man 3D 60fps test clip for testing. Tried using 1:1 and 2:2 pulldown in the 3D file (Barco DP4K-32B) and the MI unit does not sync up if manually started, or recognize that it should lift and run when in sync pulse automation.

Anyone know what settings should be used? The Clarity is supposed to do 60fps.

Dave - I remember MasterImage sent out HFR instructions when the Hobbit came out. I should have them on my other machine. It may be, though, that the sync mechanism was only programmed to do 24/48/96, but not 30/60/120 and never updated?

The manual v1.3 suggests it should do 60fps with 2:2 and a different dark time, but that doesn't work. SO maybe the firmware is old but I don't have access to it now to check versions. I have version v1.0.8.68 saved but can't find that note about HFR.

I contacted MI back when they were still around. My question was not about the clarity model but the original model. There response was that it could do 48fps but not 60fps. Whether that applies to the clarity or not I do not know. I will find the email from them at a later date as it has recommended dark times.

In the Clarity user manual rev. 3.0 they have listed the following data:

-24 fps 6:2 dark time 1160
-25 fps 4:2 dark time 1670
-25 fps 6:2 dark time 1110
-30 fps 4:2 dark time 1390
-48 fps 2:2 dark time 1740
-60 fps 2:2 dark time 1390

The last software released for Clarity was v.1.3.0a
