Dear All,
It is my first post in Film-Tech, I got a problem with my Dorime server in FTP when i try to connect get a Error, ftp> 500 OOPS: failed to open vsftpd log file:/var/log/vsftpd.log
Pleas help,

Could be a permission problem on the log file.

Try the following:

Log in on the terminal of your machine as root user and issue the following commands:

service vsftpd stop
mv /var/log/vsftpd.log /var/log/vsftpd.log.bak
service vsftpd start

If the permissions in /var/log aren't totally screwed up, the vsftpd service should recreate the log file after you have moved it out of the way.
