Hello,
I'm setting up a new venue with an audio system Dante based with a Yamaha MRX7-D processor, equipped with an AES in/out board (MY8-AE). Obviously I would have chosen QSYS, but that's not the point.
I have some issues trying to connect AES out from GDC SX-2000 IMB: the first and the forth couples are properly synced, but the second and the third are sending something that the system recognise but says that they are not properly in sync with world clock. Does anyone of you have experience in this field?

Side question: it seems always difficult to obtain directly infos, documentation or updates for GDC products here in Italy. Does it exist a training application procedure for European technicians? As Christie partners, many of our customers that had IMB-S2 now have moved to GDC SR1000...

I have no experience with the Yamaha MRX7-D, but what is the world clock in your setup? And did you check the master/slave configuration on the AES ports?

GDC actually has one of the very best tech supports here in the States and a very well supported 3-year warranty on new products. I can't speak for Italy.... but generally you have to extend the warranty, in this case you could only get software and tech support because that server is obsolete.

Happily it was simply an issue with the rj45 to D25 adapter (even if it was a new L-com RA2588M.

About GDC I'm sorry to say that the experience is different, even with new products still under warranty. Maybe it would be different as a trained technician (but I can't find a way to get a training)
