Well, I wasn't able to see the Vic 8 last weekend and since I don't expect to be in the vicinity for some time I may as well cast the net around and see what else is available! I need a complete machine capable of running off 240V single phase - with a 1600W horizontal lamphouse (I'm assuming this can generally take a 1kW xenon too), stereo soundhead and 6000' spool capacity (the ability to run 13000' and rewind on the machine would be great but by no means essential). Ideally < 10 years old and preferably not a leaker of oil! Oh - I'd also need a single phase rectifier. I'll be (hopefully) going to take a look at some equipment next week, but I may as well have as many alternatives as possible!
I'm in the north of England (Manchester). Will collect anywhere in mainland Britain if the price is right.
Anyone with equipment that fits the bill please contact me!
