This print is actually scope but was printed in FLAT format.

This was evident as the studio logos were not centered on the screen but offset to the left.

Were you screening a "Super-35" workprint? Or perhaps a pre-screening print (with optical sound) contact printed from a "Super 35" negative? What sound format(s)?

I don't know if I could tell you that.

They just said that it was printed in flat format, yet production release is scope.

Only soundtracks were ANALOG / SRD.

I think you were showing a contact print made from the original "Super-35" negative, which would account for the non-anamorphic image and the offset of the image to the left. The next step would be to use an optical printer to make the "squeezed" anamorphic dupe negatives used for release printing. They likely are holding off on that step until they are sure of the final editing based on the pre-screenings.

Since you have top masking (at least I "think" you do), did you cut a special plate and set the masking for scope to present this? Were there printed black bars?

No special plates were made or anything.

It was presented in Flat Format. Flat lense, Flat masking.

SRD/DTS/SDDS (amazing Paramount printed in SDDS)
ETS depot
6 reels (last one is only the credits)
