Its in scope
Dolby Digital, and DTS (no disks with the print I have)
English Subtitles
11 cans numbered reels 1+2, 3+4, ... 19+20, 21

there should be an intermission in it somewhere, but I've not found it yet...

Intermission is at the end of the reel marked as '9+10' which is the fifth can...

Does this suggest that it was originally shipped on 21, 10 minutes reels? And the reels have been spliced together in two's to make 20 minute reels?

If running reel to reel watch out for the early End credits as they come up much sooner than normal for a Bollywood ,with longer Credits and intermission was on reel (can) 5 or as suggested before .

I've made up several Indian movies where each reel is labeled as 2 (1+2, 3+4, etc), an old veteran once told me movies used to come in 10-minute reels and when they went to 20 each reels still counted as 2. Some of these are quite strange, like one reel will contain the last part before the intermission, followed by some leader and the next will be the very LAST part of the movie, so pay attention to the numbers!

IMDb link

Had the thrill of inspecting this title earlier this week.
35mm
2.39:1
Dolby SR•D/DTS
21 parts on 11 rolls
Print #396

Many head and foot leaders not with correct rolls. Can identification did not match roll. Luckily there were ID frames left on leaders which greatly simplified identifying the roll.

Soundtrack continues throughout foot leader of Part 21 (Roll 11).
Intermission at end of Part 10 (Roll 5).
