did these come in the cans or were they seperatly sent to you. THat may explain why the running time was given as 84 mins.

The end of reel 2 is very very dark on my print. I couldn't see any detail for several (4 or 5) feet, other than the change over markers. I hope this is normal, and cut it accordingly, but it looks very odd. Will edit this post after screening it tonight. Chubb Chubbs (5:35 long) was enclosed in our cans, but placement requires cutting off the attached trailer, and splicing this in between.

Yes, the short subject was in our cans, too, and had to be edited in as Adam said.

Yes, there's a fadeout at the end of R2. You can just barely see the framelines if you hold a flashlight behind the print.We didn't get the short at all, but we did get the enclosed/attached trailers.

Stuart Little 2 article in Kodak "In Camera" magazine "(Cinematographer Steven) Poster explains that because of all the visual effects scenes where CG characters are composited with liveaction footage, the studio decided that all of the negative in the final cut would be converted to digital files at 4K resolution at Sony Imageworks.
The high-resolution files gave Poster and Chen headroom for retaining nuances in contrast and colors and details in shadows and highlights that render a filmatic look. "I believe that every element of every shot of every scene informs the audience," Poster says. "We're working with mouse whiskers, fur, feathers and textures that need the fineness of the highest resolution we can get."
Stuart Little 2 was digitally mastered at Imageworks, where Poster orchestrated the continuity and nuances in the look by fine tuning images using a 5D Colossus. The 4K resolution digital files were recorded onto color intermediate film, which is used as the master for release printing by Deluxe Labs."

UK Prints appear to feature 2 separate rating tags. One for the short and one for the feature. Monsters Inc featured just one 'Monsters Inc' rating tag that ran before 'For The Birds'.
