Note: closing music runs for 37 seconds (55 feet) after that last picture fades out.

Looks like the digital soundlamps were left on, which seems odd, but I guess I don't know enough about how IB works.

print #01 is in great shape, with only minor dirt (and multiple handmade cues) near reel changes.

edit:

starts with: Paramount logo - fades in
ends with: restoration credits - MPAA rationg (PG) - scrolls to black - music tails out

The dye transfer "receiver" print stock is actually a special B&W silver image print film. The soundtracks are printed and processed, yielding silver-only tracks, then the dyes are transferred from the matrices.

Print #9 is a new print struck in 5/11, either a silver or high magenta track (not cyan). Same specs as above, but it's not IB, obviously. I wasn't crazy about the color timing, but my understanding is that we're lucky there's any color there.

Was NOT impressed with the ship job, which Universal is usually good at. Metal ICC cases ( [thumbsup]

), but the leaders were barely taped down [Roll Eyes]

Print #8 is as Jack describes print #9. Foto-Kem print, Kodak 2383, mint condition (heads and tails are uncut), but not dye-transfer.
