Notes: No intermission. "The End" title & cast
* Unusually long interval between Academy Number [3] and the first frame of picture on R1. Seems just enough time for the MGM lion logo to have been blacked out (some legal dispute? just a guess). If you are not changing over from another projector (attraction reel?), you can just roll down past Academy # [3]; there is enough black for even the slowest machine to reach speed and sound to stabilize.
* Best if your plates are cut 2.4:1 as this title has the telltale negative flashes so common in the early scope releases, and soooo annoying.
* On R3, R4 and R6, change-overs occur at fade-ins. RTR booths must take care to use exact count-down number (do not roll down to lower numbers) so that change-over is to the beginning of the fade-in and not somewhere after it has begun. If you are not sure what's the count-down number for your machines that will correctly time out to match the very first frame on the in-coming projector, then they should be re-timed before this engagement.
We covered cues that occur in fade-out with black appliques as the cues are very distracting on a black screen, and are unnecessary. The applied cues can be seen even in the black out, but simply take change-over when screen goes completely black and you won't have to worry about seeing the cue. The appliques are on the base side and are removable.

DCP is wider than 2.39AR. If you use your 2.39 preset, it will appear "letterboxed."

I was going to mention something about that, but Manny beat me to it: I think this was shot/presented 2.55-1 (mag only) with dual-inventory 2.35-1 (mag/op, usually cropped and recentered if Print by Technicolor, but on contact Eastman prints, usually the track area lopped off.)
