Important Note:

Credits start before the end of reel #7. There are changeover cues in the credits.

Platter houses beware! There is a sound overlap on the head of reel #8. If you make your cut on the faint lab mark you will have a repeat. Be careful to match up the soundtrack.

Changeover houses may wish to combine reels 7 & 8 due to the shortness of the last reel. If so, watch out for the sound overlap.

music carries across R2->R3 changeover [Mad]

R7 ends with a fadeout; R8 begins with a fade-in (mid-credits) [Mad]

the editor should get an award for "Film Done Wrong"

We had an out-of-sync Reel 6 running analog sound. Near the end just before the 6/7 changeover for about 3-5 minutes. The sound continued for action that wasn't there, so it was out-of-sync by about 20 seconds until the reel change.

We only ran it for a few days, so no time to get a replacement in time and I forgot to jot down the print number of it. Left a note in the cans, though.

Running 20 seconds out of sync would be a very unusual situation. That's 30 feet of film offset! [Eek!]

Not just a simple printer misthread by a frame or two. Perhaps there was a major re-edit and someone used the wrong sound negative for the re-edited picture negative?
