Touch of Evil (1958) -- reconstructed in 1998 to Orson Welles' specifications.

The SR is Woody Allen style, center channel only. Noise reduction notwithstanding, soundtrack still sounds lousy, though this is mostly due to the source material.
Print #1 is splicy, some perf damage in reel 5, DTS discs (pressed, not burned) badly scratched; could be worse. Looks fairly good on-screen.

print # 4 is a 2005 reprint and is in excellent condition; unfortunately, it did not arrive with DTS disks

as for the aspect ratio, I would argue that this film is Academy, but that appears to be a point of debate

edit: print #4 is absolutely breathtaking and is the best print that anyone will probably ever see of this title--book it!
