print #1 appears to be in very good condition, with no missing frames (though it has previously been plattered with one reference frame left on each head and tail)

print sent in error (should have been a different title)

edit: R1 begins with "And now our short feature presentation" tag before Universal logo; R2 begins with "And now our feature presentation" tag. This is intentional.

Looks excellent, except that R5 has some minor hotspotting speckles on it.

Sounds is pretty good, though there are definitely some spots where the overall level is dramatically lower than the rest. Including a big drop at the beginning of the "short" credits on the tail of R1. Oh well.

I can't speak for other spots in the film but the lower volume at the beginning of the short film credits is intentional.

Absolutely, Joe.

I'll add that if AT ALL POSSIBLE, the short should be played BEFORE intermission and then from reel two onwards after intermission. Even if you don't normally have an intermission, it's worth it for this feature.
