Anyone have print specs/American distributer for Dawn of the Dead (1978)? Also, has there been any new prints struck recently?

Different edits exist; this info applies to the 126-minute version. Not sure on current print availability or distributor.

The US 35mm theatrical rights are currently held by producer Richard P. Rubenstein, who has not approved any bookings for this title for longer than I can remember.

We recently tried to book a print of the original Dawn of the Dead in connection with an appearance of George Romero (this Sunday, actually), and had to settle for The Crazies because Rubenstein would not consider our request.
