THAT'S interesting. Was it pillarboxed, did the titles look like it was just run through a printer with a block for Academy, or what?

Did it seem to be a new print? I think I recall that the Alloy Orchestra recently had some new prints struck for their own purchase & use from Killiam's collection.

It appears to have been optically re-centered for Academy.

It's not a "new" print per se, but it does seem to be a very recent printing on ESTAR-base stock.

It's on color stock, from a two-strip Technicolor negative. The look is interesting--it somewhat resembles faded Eastmancolor, but with better contrast. The picture is very sharp and I didn't notice any substantial misregistration issues from the booth. The title cards are not original, however.

As far as I know, there is only one print and it is (currently) in excellent condition. It was struck at the request of Alloy (who partially funded it), but I believe that it is available for general booking as well. The distributor sent along some threatening notes about not cutting off extra frames if plattering (which should be obvious, but...). I ran it reel-to-reel.
