Kodak B&W Print Film 2302

Reported to be one of the few recent major releases with all prints on silver image black-and-white print stock. Since silver image B&W print films absorb much more infrared energy during projection, it is especially important to check lamp alignment and heat filtration to avoid heat-related projection issues, especially with larger lamps. Even so, it is likely that you will need to refocus slightly between color film trailers and the B&W feature, since the B&W film heats up more in the gate. PLEASE RECHECK FOCUS WHEN THE FEATURE STARTS.

The prints are being edgewaxed (per SMPTE Recommended Practice RP151), so projector abrasion and dusting should be minimal. But you may notice a bit of a soft wax deposit on film contacting components between shows, that can be easily cleaned off.
