). Brings back memories of my time at the Grandview Drive-In (1967-1970) showing Russ Meyer features. Never missed a changeover. [thumbsup]

Shot on Kodak -color- stock, printed on Fuji stock. The B&W is mixed with archival footage. All the B&W is fairly flat-toned and shifted a little green from neutral.

If we can make it through "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" and "Female Trouble" in c/o, I think we'll be OK...

To be clear -- the color sequences were shot on Kodak color stock. The black-and-white sequences were shot on Kodak black-and-white stock. Logical but gutsy move these days. See the article in American Cinematographer. The cinematographer discusses how he was unhappy with how the shine failed to print through to color, and how he ended up having to use a digital intermediate after trying to avoid one.

Any further discussion on how this was shot should probably go in another forum. (Unless you're the negative cutter and have handled the camera negative ...)
