There are a few seconds of credits, then a brief shot of the Surfer in space, then the rest of the credits, so watch your cues.

I don't think you should have removed that trailer because the theaters are legally bound to show whatever is attached to the movie. By removing the attached trailer you are breaching the contract. And Fox knows that the movie is PG therefore they created a newer shorter version of the trailer targeted to the audience. Plus there have been rumors abound that Live Free or Die Hard is going to be PG-13.

Nope not in the contracts in reguards to trailers. Yes Live free or die hard is rated PG-13. If exhibitors have a policy about no PG-13 or R trailers on PG titles they can be removed so long as the studios are made aware of the policy. SOme studios will even make sure they get an appropriate title to put in place of the other trailer.

Our corporate office made it strictly clear for us to remove the "Live Free or Die Hard" attachment from the prints. I realize the attached trailer was shorter and "softer" and if it was up to me, I would've left it on.
