Dolby Stereo A-type (were there mono prints as well?)

Tri-Star Pictures

R1 ends with fadeout
R2 starts with black, then title card fades in

I ran "the Natural" in that spring of '84 (the first film released by Tr-Star) and it was a mono print.

I am pretty sure that the prints were from MGM Culver City, they very rarely did dual-inventory releases.
