There's a bloody great 'X' filling the frame just prior to the PG-13 tag on the end. I know this won't be screened here, but just giving you a heads up in case it's on the worldwide prints too.

Warning to all Australian Film-Techers...

There is a trailer for 'BABY MAMA' attached to head reel one. It begins with an expanse of black film then no censorship logo then the trailer. At the end of the trailer is a scope PG tag then it's straight into the feature. [eyes]

Obviously, the censor tag should be where the expanse of black is.

Someone has messed this up pretty badly.

Also, received this information from Universal:

- At the conclusion of the film Mamma Mia the cast perform two songs “on stage” – ‘Dancing Queen’ followed by ‘Waterloo’. Please DO NOT raise the house lights until the song ‘Waterloo” has concluded and the regular credit roll begins.

- Could you please also request that Mamma Mia be played on a higher than normal volume setting. Our experience indicates a 6.5 volume setting is adequate – however we are sure your technical professionals will adjust according to individual auditoriums. Bottom line is that the musical numbers are far more engaging when the film is “turned up”. Over to you.

That's pretty funny they are recommending turning it "up" to 6.5 since a properly setup auditorium will play most films well at 7.

How am I to determine this when visually looking at the print during assembly? Does it fade to black after that song? Need to know, need to know, tut tut!

Yes, fades to black and credits roll. The song's not that long...could be a medley of Dancing Queen and Waterloo.

Same film, just with music lyrics printed on screen. Lyrics change from blue to yellow as each word is 'sung'.
