Notes:
Reels 1-4 have a "CUT HERE" mark with an arrow pointing to a line on the tail. Cut on the line. The heads do not have these marks. If you are the type who likes to cut off an "ID Frame", then you are purposely disobeying where the director demands that you cut. Only a print with all frames intact can be considered the "director's cut".

My tail of reel 4 did not have a "cut here." It's a fade out of Jennifer Carpenter in a tank top. I used a frame counter and got as much as I think was film and not tail. I'll find out in the morning after notes from the screening.

So on prints that have the cut here mark out of frame, your supposed to run the rest of the movie out of frame, because that's the way the director wants it. Like Wall-e. (Sensed some sarcasm, at least I hope it was sarcasm, and continued the sarcastic logic.)

Correct. The directors personally draw the CUT HERE on the negative and place it according to their wishes.

At least they got it right with this print. Not sure what happened with Wall-E other than major incompetence on whoever created the mark's part.

The image does not fill the full width of the screen. It has small black bars down both sides of the screen.
