Print from Janus is labeled 1.66/Mono -- on 5 reels.
20th Century-Fox logo appears cropped (to 1.85?) in the 1.66 frame. Soundtrack (from the negative) states "Stereo SR."
Criterion website (and others) mention the 1.78AR being preserved.

Official word from Janus is - use 1.78
