A very quick and to the point question: Does anyone here know the exact number of reels for "Tokyo!", a new-ish, limited release arthouse picture?

I suspect it to be 7 reels but I want to confirm this with someone else who has personally ran the movie considering that the print I received was so messed up...

Always check the FITA forum!
My colleague Alex posted in January, and I personally watched it. Yes, it is seven reels.

Incidently, some people think it's advisable to combine short reels when they fit under 2k. We don't tend to do this, but I don't think it is necessarily a bad practice. But it can certainly be confusing. And if someone combines R6 and R7, what do you do with the leaders? Some people will "bracket" the leaders, e.g. H7+H6+Reel6+Reel7+T7+T6, others will just leave the extras in the can, e.g. T6+H7 in the bottom of a can and then H6+Reel6+Reel7+T7. Sounds like in your case they did H6+Reel6+Reel7+T7+H6+T6?
