TES depot (unusual for a Warner Bros. title; is this a recent change? Warner titles used to come from ETS/DFS....)

Scott-
I don't know what's going on back on the East Coast, but out
here in CA, the entire distribution chain is in flux. TES/DFS
has fired staff and closed down most of its' warehouses.

I never know now exactly where to expect a film from.
And at least temporarily, quality has gone into the toilet.

I got a 2nd print of a film last week that had a horrible
scratch down the center of all 6 reels.
It took me over an an hour of telephone torture to get a
replacement. AND THEN IT NEVER ARRIVED AS PROMISED

We had to steal a print from another theater. (Why?-
"Becuase we could!" - We were going to loose 4 shows
that day becuase we had no print. They only had 2
shows scheduled. Better for them to loose 2 shows
than for me to loose 4. Screw them! )

And then, to make things more fun, I had to go in at
7AM IN THE MORNING ON MY FRIGGN' DAY OFF and
make up their print for them as part of the deal!
(after working an extremely late shift the nite B4)

I could tell you half-a-dozen other horror stories
related to this "distribution transition period"
but alas, this is not the place for 'chit chat'

(or more appropriately, in this case, 'sh_t chat'!)

I've said enough already. . . .
